Statutory Instrument 154 of 2003 regulates Industrial Inspections in Zimbabwe.The common purpose of industrial inspections is to ensure social peace and social justice by preventing unfair work practices, work-related accidents, or occupational illness, and by working in collaboration with employer and worker organisations. The Designated Agent’s office is committed to ensuring effective compliance and enforcement of the legal requirements within its authorised scope through industrial inspections. To achieve this goal, the Designated Agent encourages, promotes, informs, educates, persuades, influences, and ultimately enforces the law where necessary.
